Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
The Collective Fund Accountant is responsible to administer or coordinate:
Utmost external funds offering materialised by the collective fund called ‘Company Box’
Utmost outsourced collective funds
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
External Funds Offering
Daily repair of market interfaces related to the ‘Company Box’,
Daily check of the cash & securities positions,
Monthly reconciliation of the ‘Company Box’: securities & cash reconciliation between 3 systems/entities: custodian, fund accounting system & policy administration system,
Management of the ‘Company Box’ triggering trading instruction,
Answer day-to-day queries from partners & auditors.
Outsourced Collective Funds
Handle daily activities of the internal collective funds outsourced: transactions, queries & unit reconciliation,
Follow internal procedures, industry rules and regulation,
Transmit timely dealing instructions to the relevant custodian bank,
Ensure dealing instructions are well executed and settled,
Instruct cash management deals according to specific agreements,
Answer day-to-day queries from partners & auditors,
Quarterly re calculation of all collective funds.
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Collective Fund Accountant & Coordinator?
Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or any other relevant field,
2 to 5 years of experience in fund accounting,
An experience in a life insurance sector position would be considered as an asset,
Pro-active, motivated and eager to learn and grow in fast paced working environment,
Flexible, excellent team player and have a positive attitude towards problem solving issues,
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and able to work under tight deadlines,
Demonstrate an analytical and rigorous approach as well as being client-service oriented,
Team player, self-organized, open-minded and comfortable in an intercultural environment,
Good command of the Microsoft office tools (especially excel),
Fluency in English & French.
