-Must have knowledge of the workings of Windows servers and desktops, from knowing how to navigate the OS both via the gui and command line. Have a firm understanding of windows registry and how installed applications integrated into the registry. Understand 32 bit applications running on a 64bit operating system installation. Be able to write or debug windows scripts that are written by others. Familiar with steps of troubleshooting application issues that might be caused by operations system and not the application itself.

-Able to perform TM1 installation and configurations of server and client application for these components. TM1 Server, Tm1 Operations Console, Tm1 Applications, Tm1 Web, Microsoft Office Tm1 client tools Perspective and Cognos Analysis for Excel(CAFÉ) and apply patches to these components in version 10.1 and above

-Work with TM1 server in different authentication modes and be able to switch modes Tm1 configuration to operate in these different modes, Native security, ldap, Cognos Business Intelligence security integration.

-Having worked with Tm1 integration between Cognos Business Intelligence components is a plus but not needed.

-Monitor performance and provide tuning recommendations to the TM1 Sever, Tm1 Instance, web server, Operating system or detect other possible bottlenecks.

-Knowledge of TM1 Disaster Recovery and backup/restore processes for the server installation and the Tm1 business data.

Administrator positions require the following:

-Ability to independently troubleshoot problems

-Knowledge of IIS and Apache web servers and Tomcat application server configurations

-Understand Microsoft Active Directory LDAP

-Have basic knowledge of Databases and sql(preferably Oracle) to be able to run scripts for troubleshooting or administrative purposes. Database performance tuning of sql is not a requirement

-Willing to document change management (ITSM) and other tasks and adhere to strict procedures for audit requirements.

- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking from IP addressing to DNS
