Exp : 6-8 years of relevant experience

Work Location : Bangalore

Roles and responsibilities includes :

Job Requirements:

6 years’ work experience in technical support, administration and engineering of client/server, middleware and/or mainframe applications, hardware or operating systems.

6 to 8 year’s work experience in Cognos Administration

Experience with Cognos 10.1 and 10.2 (Upgrading, patching, installing, configuring)

Experience working with large databases (SQL Server, Netezza, DB2, Oracle etc.)

Must be an administrator, not a developer.

Experience working with deployment and versioning tools like Metamanager and iCS.

Demonstrated experience as a Cognos Administrator in an Enterprise IBM environment

Demonstrated experience with Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Framework Manager, and Cognos Transformer

Experience analyzing data solving problems and troubleshooting to provide solutions

Industry knowledge and experience, including current industry trends and challenges

Knowledge of business intelligence reporting and data quality

Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies, Agile in particular

Interest in implementing new technologies and methodologies

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
