Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver to safely transport goods and materials to and from designated locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle condition, and complying with South African road and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Code 10 (C1) vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws

Deliver goods to customers, branches, or sites on schedule

Load and offload goods where required

Complete delivery documentation (PODs, trip sheets, etc.)

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects

Ensure cargo is secured and transported safely

Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle

Follow company safety and operational procedures

Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers

Minimum Requirements

Experience in logistics, warehouse, or FMCG environments

Minimum 1–3 years driving experience (commercial driving preferred)

Valid South African Code 10 (C1) Driver’s Licence

Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)

Good knowledge of local and national routes

Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading

Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Good time management and reliability

Experience in logistics, warehouse, or FMCG environments

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance

Forklift or truck-mounted crane experience

Customer service experience
