The Coconut Climber is responsible for safely climbing coconut trees to harvest coconuts, trim fronds, and maintain trees to ensure guest safety, island cleanliness, and landscape aesthetics. The role supports environmental sustainability and operational safety within the resort.

• Climb coconut trees using approved safety equipment and techniques.

• Harvest coconuts as per kitchen, spa, and operational requirements.

• Remove dry, broken, or hazardous palm fronds.

• Prevent coconuts from falling into guest walkways, villas, pools, or public areas.

• Identify damaged, diseased, or unstable trees and report to management.

• Support landscaping and island maintenance teams when required.

• Ensure all harvested coconuts are delivered to the designated storage areas.

• Maintain tools, ropes, and climbing equipment in good working condition.

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies of the resort.

• Keep records of harvested coconuts and tree maintenance activities if required.

• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

• Previous experience in coconut climbing or tree climbing preferred.

• Knowledge of safe climbing techniques and palm tree maintenance.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Basic understanding of workplace safety.

• Good communication skills.
