Role: COBOL Programmer with SQL

Duration: Very Long -term

Location Roseville, CA

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, design, coding, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications and reporting systems.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of strong COBOL (w/embedded SQL) development experience

• It would be nice to have a candidate with Business Objects experience.

• This is a Unix Development environment , some experience with Unix commands and shell scripting is desirable.
Candidate needs to be exceptional communicators with strong client facing consulting profile.

• Working experience in creating and maintaining Business Objects using Deski Reporting, Webi Reporting tools

• Basic knowledge of Unix commands and shell scripting

• Experience in MicroFocus - NetExpress is preferred

• Knowledge in Welfare system

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines

• Team player who can work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to troubleshoot and follow escalation procedures to resolution
