CNC Router Supervisor

We are seeking a passionate & driven CNC Router Supervisor to lead our CNC Routing department in Roselle, IL. The CNC Router Supervisor role exists to supervise daily department operations and staff accordingly to meet established safety, quality, and department efficiency targets in order to meet production demands. The person in this role is responsible for building positive employee relations, and will be accountable for the onboarding, training, and coaching of their teams in order to maximize team performance. This person should demonstrate an ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others to achieve results.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuously evaluate current processes and operational procedures to ensure optimal equipment and human capital performance.
• Inspect machines, tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal functioning.
• Create and sustain a work environment that is aligned with the Company’s core values and allow employees to grow and thrive.
• Performance management; monitoring and evaluating job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Interview job applicants, hire new team members, and onboard new employees effectively to facilitate career growth and individual, team, and departmental success.
• Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.
• Be available for employees and resolve employee concerns timely; provide appropriate coaching, counseling, direction and resolution where necessary.
• Other duties as necessary

Requirements:
• Bilingual (Conversational Spanish) REQUIRED

• 5+ years of previous manufacturing experience required; preferably from an Industrial Manufacturing environment.

• Ability to set up and operate CNC Router machines required (3 and 5 Axis)
• Previous leadership experience a plus, but not required
• Possess the ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the machines
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude
• Proficient to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel, along with intermediate proficiency in other Microsoft applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
• Ability to effectively relate and communicate with all levels of employees and outside entities.
• Dependable, organized and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to develop, hold accountable, and motivate a team.
• Creative thinker focused on Safety/Quality, with ability to implement change & improved processes.

Compensation & Schedule

• $75,000+
• Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
