The Cadillac Formula 1® Team is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming seasons of the FIA Formula 1® World Championship. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are assembling a team of exceptional talent to fulfill our ambitious vision. As part of this endeavor, we are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist (Turning) to join our esteemed team based in Silverstone.

As a CNC Machinist specializing in Turning, you will play a pivotal role in the production of precision components essential for our high-performance racing cars. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success and competitiveness of The Cadillac Formula 1® Team.

· Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-precision metallic components in compliance with exacting specifications

· Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks on finished components to ensure adherence to defined standards

· Collaborate effectively with design engineers and fellow machinists to improve manufacturing processes and optimize production techniques

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations

· Document production processes and maintain accurate records of all machining activities performed

· Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What do you need to bring to the team?

· Proven experience as a CNC Machinist focused on Turning operations, preferably within a motorsport or precision engineering setting

· Strong background in CNC turning processes, tooling selection, and machine maintenance

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings and specifications

· Ability to utilize measurement tools and equipment for quality assurance processes

· Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under pressure

· Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration

· Familiarity with advanced CNC controls and programming languages

· Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, HyperMill would be an advantage

· Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards in the workplace

· Capability to manage time effectively to meet production deadlines

· Positive attitude with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements
