Job Description
LSI is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to run and set up CNC mills and/or lathes. This role is for someone who can work independently, perform setups with minimal assistance, and hold tolerances using strong inspection practices. No CAM programming required (minor at-the-machine edits may be needed).
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts.
Tool changes, offsets, and first-piece verification.
Inspect parts to print using precision measuring tools; work with Quality as needed.
Troubleshoot and adjust processes to correct issues and maintain consistency.
Routine machine maintenance and clean/safe work practices.
Qualifications
3–5+ years CNC machining experience.
Setup-capable with minimal assistance (tooling, offsets, basic fixturing/workholding).
Blueprint reading and ability to hold tolerances; strong attention to detail.
Able to work onsite in Ham Lake, MN; occasional overtime.
