CNC Machinist & Programmer – Lathe/Mill Operations
Pay: Starts at $27.00/hour (higher based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (average ~56 hours/week)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience to support precision manufacturing operations. This role involves programming, setup, and operation of CNC equipment to produce high-quality components used in industrial applications.
You will work closely with shop leadership to ensure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements
• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
• Develop and edit G-code using control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, Fagor, or Heidenhain
• Machine components to tight tolerances (up to 0.0005") with consistency and accuracy
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges)
• Verify that parts meet all specifications and quality requirements
• Follow all safety procedures within a machining environment
• Maintain strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
• Handle materials up to 50 lbs as part of daily responsibilities
• Support production schedules, including required overtime
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in CNC machining with hands-on programming responsibilities
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Solid understanding of G-code programming
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision work
• Knowledge of machining best practices, safety standards, and quality expectations
