CNC Machinist/Programmer

Job Description

Second Shift CNC Machinist needed for a fast-growing company in Auburn Hills.

This role requires setup and operation of vertical mills, including Mitsubishi, Tarus, Samsung, Haas, and Hurco machines. This is a job shop environment, so the right candidate must be able to work independently on a wide variety of parts and materials, including tool steel, foam, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and other super alloys.

The machinist will be expected to follow job priorities provided by the Foreman and ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner. This position involves both setting up and running mills.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CNC setup experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Working knowledge of GD&T

Preferred Skills:

• Fanuc control experience
• Mitsubishi machine experience
• Hurco machine experience
• Haas machine experience
• Tarus machine experience
