We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working a 12-hour shift with a 2/3 rotating schedule to join our clinical team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles plays an essential, hands-on role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting the nursing team. CNAs help foster a safe, respectful, and uplifting environment where patients feel valued, comfortable, and cared for.

In this impactful role, CNAs assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility. They also take vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and promptly report any changes to ensure the highest level of care. Maintaining a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment is also a key part of delivering quality service.

Beyond physical care, CNAs offer encouragement and emotional support, building meaningful connections that enhance the overall patient experience. This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others every day.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred

Experience working with geriatric psychiatric or behavioral health patients strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

A current resume with complete work history required
