Responsibilities:
As a CMM Programmer specializing in PCDMIS, you will leverage your expertise to develop and implement complex measurement programs for various manufacturing components. Your primary role will involve programming, operating, and troubleshooting CMMs in accordance with client specifications.
• Create and execute measurement programs using PCDMIS software
• Develop programs based on CAD models and technical drawings
• Perform precision measurements and analyze results for quality assurance
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure measurement accuracy
• Conduct measurement system analyses and offer consulting on GD&T practices
• Document and report measurement findings comprehensively
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with CMM programming using PCDMIS software
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and practices
• Proficient in interpreting complex technical drawings and CAD models
• Ability to perform measurements with precision and detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in quality assurance and inspection processes
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in measurement data
• Zeiss Calypso knowledge/experience is a plus
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree in engineering technology or related field preferred
