Job Description

Cellerator is a fast‑growing organization accelerating the development and manufacturing of cell‑based therapies. Based in Lyngby, Denmark, we work at the intersection of science and early clinical manufacturing, supporting partners with strong GMP, technical, and regulatory expertise.

As a scale‑up within the Novo Nordisk Foundation, we offer high visibility, real responsibility, and the chance to shape how we work as we grow - together with a collaborative, ambitious team at the forefront of cell therapy innovation.

The job

Strong CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) project leadership is critical to ensure development strategies are translated into robust, executable manufacturing plans. This role sits at the center of that effort - connecting science, execution, and partnerships.

You will lead and oversee drug development projects from late discovery through early clinical manufacturing. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring projects are strategically scoped, efficiently executed, and aligned with customer objectives.

In addition to strong project leadership, you will be expected to contribute scientific insight to discussions with both clients and internal teams, helping translate development challenges into practical solutions. This role requires the ability to build trust and confidence with partners while coordinating closely across Cellerator’s technical functions.

This is a dynamic and highly visible role that plays a critical part in delivering successful client programmes and shaping Cellerator’s service offering within the cell therapy CDMO ecosystem.

The responsibilities

• Direct and manage drug development projects from late discovery stage through Phase I-II clinical batch production.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and clear proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute scientific and technical insight to client discussions and project planning, supporting effective translation of development strategies into executable plans.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to guide cross-functional teams and project milestones.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define project scope and ensure alignment with client needs.
• Prioritize tasks for project teams based on customer goals, technical considerations, and project timelines.
• Present Cellerator capabilities to clients and partners, showcasing technical solutions and value propositions.
• Coordinate internal business development initiatives to support organizational growth.
• Provide Cellerator management with business cases, technical insights, market analysis, customer feedback, and emerging market trends to inform strategic decisions.

About you

You bring a solid life‑science background, pharmaceutical project management experience, and the confidence to lead cross‑functional teams in a dynamic, evolving environment:

Requirements

• MSc in life sciences.
• Proven experience managing projects within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Expertise in drug product development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, and adapt to changing priorities.
