Job Description:
Mi Casa Care Homes is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team for night shift (7PM–7AM) at our Tyler location.
We are a Home Plus facility, meaning a smaller, more personal environment with a low staff-to-resident ratio, allowing for higher-quality care and stronger relationships with residents.
This is not a typical facility job—our team is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to doing things the right way.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to residents (ADLs, toileting, hygiene, repositioning)
Administer medications (CMA only, per scope)
Complete accurate and detailed charting in EMR (Alis)
Monitor residents throughout the night and respond to needs promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
Follow individualized care plans
Assist with incontinence care and ensure proper hygiene standards
Communicate effectively with incoming day shift staff
Qualifications:
Active Kansas CNA or CMA certification
Previous caregiving experience preferred (Home Plus, LTC, or similar)
Ability to work overnight (7PM–7AM)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing multiple residents
Why Work With Us:
Low resident-to-staff ratio (more manageable workload)
Family-like environment
Consistent scheduling (12-hour shifts)
Opportunity to grow with a strong and expanding organization
Leadership that is involved and supportive
