TITLE: Club Operations Manager
POSITION STATUS Full Time
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities and Managing Director of Tennis
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some weekends when necessary.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Club Operations Manager at the Midwest Tennis Center, you will be responsible for making sure the members have a top notch experience. Oversee the daily operations of the Midwest Tennis Center while fostering strong relationships with current and prospective members to maintain a welcoming and professional environment. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with proven team management experience and the ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
THE ROLE:
Oversee the daily operations of the front office, locker rooms, and all other amenities
Ensure that facilities are maintained to high standards, including cleaning, repairs, and general upkeep.
Ensure all equipment and materials are stocked and functioning properly.
Foster strong relationships with current and prospective members, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
Respond to member inquiries, resolve complaints, and address any issues regarding club facilities or services.
Manage membership renewals, orientations, and new member sign-ups.
Supervise and manage a team of full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees, and facility staff.
Organize promotional events and open houses to attract new members and increase visibility.
Identify opportunities to expand membership, enhance services, and improve facility offerings.
Regularly assess the performance of the club and make recommendations for improvements.
SPECIAL PROJECTS:
Represent the club at community functions and industry events to build relationships with key stakeholders.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Required
CPR Certified and AED knowledgeable within the first 30 days of hire - Required
Previous experience managing a tennis club or sports facility. - Preferred
Current or previous experience in directly managing a team (2+ years or more) - Required
Experience with membership management systems and software. - Preferred
Commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for members. - Required
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Required
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations. - Required
