Cloudera Data Architect

As part of this vision, we are looking for a Cloudera Data Architect who will help us design and optimize large-scale data platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and seamless integration across our systems. You will collaborate closely with our platform architects, software developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver robust and efficient data solutions using the latest technologies in the Cloudera ecosystem.

What You Will Do
Act as a Cloudera Data Architect with high skill in performance tuning procedures, both software- and platform-based.
Design, plan, and manage Spark applications based on Cloudera cluster technologies and workflows integrated with Kafka Streams, ensuring correct implementation and code quality.
Design and manage Kudu and HDFS data tables.
Support the analysis of functional requirements to turn them into detailed technical specifications.
Technologies you will work with: Kudu, HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Java, OpenJDK, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Kafka, GitLab, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Linux servers, SQL Server, and much more.

What You Bring
Experience in the Cloudera ecosystem: Cloudera Manager, Ranger, Knox, Atlas, Hive…
Experience with Spark streaming applications using Kafka Streams, Kudu and HDFS data design, and Impala queries.
Experience with XML, JSON, Avro, and Git.
Nice to have experience: Iceberg use cases, GitLab CI, OpenShift, ArgoCD, Agile framework, Linux.
High team-working ability and accurate working methods.
Good verbal and written English and Spanish.
