Job Description

Sarmad is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team and drive the design and implementation of cloud solutions. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for delivering innovative cloud strategies, architecture, and designs that effectively meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, ensure compliance with best practices, and optimize performance and security for cloud applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using various cloud platforms.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing infrastructure and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with application development teams to integrate cloud capabilities into their projects.
• Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to continually refine architecture.
• Manage cost optimization and monitoring
• Design migration strategy and planning
• Design and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
• Provide guidance and support for the adoption of best practices in cloud operations and governance.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience in achieving PCI certification for cloud environments.
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud).
• Proficiency in cloud technologies including containers, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in migration from On-Prem to Cloud based infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automation tools.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance for cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
