Overview of Role

Shape the future of intelligent enterprise as a Cloud/Solution Architect at 66degrees, an end-to-end AI transformation partner. This role joins our core consulting practice, which delivers strategic and technical guidance across cloud networking, security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform engineering, and FinOps. We are seeking an expert with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge, complemented by working experience with AWS and Azure, to drive cloud transformations across diverse client environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on GCP, for infrastructure, workloads, and application modernization.

• Drive cloud network design, secure VPC architectures, interconnectivity, hybrid-cloud access, and zero trust principles.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines across cloud-native and hybrid workloads.

• Guide FinOps practices, including cloud spend analysis and cost optimization strategies.

• Design and deliver tailored client workshops on security posture, DevOps enablement, landing zones, and cloud foundations.

• Provide security advisory and implementation support for IAM, encryption, SCC (Security Command Center), and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

• Collaborate with delivery leads and stakeholders to define project roadmaps, execution plans, and architecture artifacts.

• Mentor junior engineers and participate in pre-sales engagements, technical scoping, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in IT or cloud architecture, with 5+ years of hands-on GCP expertise.

• Strong command over GCP core services (Compute, GKE, IAM, VPC, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Dataflow, Cloud Composure, SCC).

• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure services relevant to infrastructure, IAM, and security.

• Deep experience with Terraform, GitOps practices, and CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, and cloud-native security.

• Experience with client-facing delivery, technical workshops, and solution presentations.

• Experience with technical consulting across Fortune 500 customers.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional Certifications (Architect, Security, DevOps).

• AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.

• Experience designing or implementing secure landing zones, platform engineering blueprints, and compliance-aligned architectures.

• Exposure to Anthos, Apigee, IDS, or SecOps is a plus.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical stakeholders.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.
