We are on an exciting journey, building up our own private cloud to host our Edlevo software. On this journey, we need 3 to 4 new colleagues to manage this. We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic CloudOps and Deploy Engineers to join our expanding team. We are part of the IndTech/Education business unit, delivering a SaaS solution that revolutionizes the Nordic Education sector. Our platform streamlines the daily operations of guardians, students, teachers and school administrators by offering a unified platform for documentation, communication, scheduling and administration. We are in an exhilarating phase of growth and technological transition from Virtual Machines to Containers and Kubernetes. We are seeking dynamic individuals who are enthusiastic about this change and eager to learn and grow with us.

When joining Tieto Education as a CloudOps or Deploy Engineer:

As an Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our CloudOps team, assisting in ensuring our SaaS solution operates seamlessly and efficiently with the correct deliverables. Your duties will include system monitoring, troubleshooting and assisting in implementing automation wherever possible and deploying our software. The ideal candidate has a strong background in running operations in a cloud environment, managing SQL Server clusters and databases, networking and security. The candidate should also have experience with CI/CD-pipelines/GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes and Azure or have a strong interest in learning these technologies. Since you also will be working with automation, experience with scripting and programming languages is a plus. And a bonus is if you have experience of working in hybrid environments.

                                                     

Qualifications

We are looking to strengthen our team with two people that have a strong passion for technology and strive to continuously learn new things. The ideal candidate will also have some of the following qualifications:

 

CloudOps:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience as a CloudOps engineer or similar role in software operations.
• Understanding of databases and SQL.
• Windows and Linux Server experience.
• Experience of working with Virtual Machines.
• Security-oriented mindset and interest in various security aspects.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash and C#.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts and Azure.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Preferably also fluent in Swedish.

 

Deploy Engineer:

• Experience as a Release and Deploy Engineer or similar role in software operations.
• Working with software packaging
• Understanding of databases and SQL.
• Windows Server experience.
• Security-oriented mindset and interest in various security aspects.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash and C#.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Preferably also fluent in Swedish.
