📍 Location: Hybrid in Charlottesville, VA 4–6 times per month (must live within 100 miles). Office also available in Arlington, VA.
🔒 Clearance: Active Top Secret (SCI eligible)

What You’ll Do

• Engineer multi-cloud environments: Connect and secure Azure + AWS with hybrid integrations

• Deploy and automate: Hands-on Terraform deployments in production, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps methodology

• Containerize + scale: Leverage Kubernetes (AKS/EKS or similar) to deliver reliable, repeatable environments

• Implement cloud governance: Deploy Azure Landing Zones, develop policies, and enforce STIG compliance

• Collaborate and lead: Partner across DevSecOps and engineering teams to deliver mission-critical solutions

What You Bring

Must-Haves:

• 7 years; software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment (Python / Bash preferred)

• 2+ years Kubernetes production experience (AKS/EKS or similar)

• 1+ year deploying Azure Landing Zones and implementing policies

• Hands-on Terraform experience in production (CI/CD, GitOps)

• Familiarity with AWS networking (VPC, DNS, TLS; Direct Connect a plus)

• Security+ (IAT Level II) and at least one cloud certification (Azure or AWS)

Nice-to-Haves:

• AWS Direct Connect / AWS Networking experience

• Crossplane experience

• Updated Azure / AWS certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
