Brainsquare is looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join one of our enterprise projects in Brussels, contributing to the design and evolution of cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
In this role you will help shape the future cloud infrastructure landscape across Azure and hybrid environments, ensuring that solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and long-term technology strategy.
You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, platform teams and enterprise architects to translate architectural concepts into scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
This assignment is particularly suited for a freelance Infrastructure Architect who enjoys working in complex enterprise environments and guiding teams towards robust architecture standards.
Your Responsibilities
As an Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will play a central role in shaping and governing the infrastructure landscape.
Your responsibilities include:
• Design and evolve cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures (Azure)
• Define target cloud architecture and migration paths from on-premise to cloud
• Align infrastructure solutions with enterprise architecture standards
• Drive cloud governance, security and architecture best practices
• Act as the architectural reference point for cloud and infrastructure topics
• Support project teams in implementing cloud-native infrastructure patterns
• Identify architecture risks and mitigation strategies
• Engage stakeholders from concept phase through implementation
• Contribute to the cloud infrastructure roadmap
The infrastructure engineering teams will handle the detailed implementation and configuration, while you focus on architecture, alignment and direction.
