Cloud Infra/DevOps Engineer

What will you be doing?

You will be working within an agency as part of its IT project team, which includes the Product/Project Manager, Solution Architect, and, where applicable, a Technical Services Consultant. Together, you will deliver ICT capabilities to support Singapore’s vision of a Smart Nation.

Experience & Skills Required

Experience: 3-5 years

Key Responsibilities:

•
Design and implement DevSecOps infrastructure for secure, scalable government cloud platforms.

•
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Atlassian suite.

•
Automate deployment of backend systems and data pipelines.

•
Implement monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana), maintain infrastructure (VMWare, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).

•
Enforce best practices for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security and system resiliency.

•
Experience in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring Azure services such as Virtual Machine, Manage Disk, Azure SQL, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, etc.

•
Experience implementing and maintaining secure and robust environments.

•
Experience with SQL Server/Oracle.

•
Knowledge of network technologies including VPC, Subnet, Security Group for AWS and Vnet, NSG, ASG for Azure.

•
Proficiency in Kubernetes commands and operations, with preference for Docker Image knowledge.

•
Preferred if obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification or Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect – Expert certification.

•
Advocate for engineering excellence, contribute to product reliability and mentor others.
