Requirements:
Position Overview:

Seeking Cloud Billing & Monitoring expert to manage cloud billing processes, optimize costs, and

monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security. This role will ensure that

cloud resources are efficiently utilized, and cloud expenditures are optimized to meet government

budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize cloud billing processes, ensuring cost efficiency across government

cloud projects.

• Monitor cloud usage and generate detailed reports on resource consumption and costs,

identifying opportunities for optimization.

• Collaborate with Ministries/ Departments technical teams to forecast and manage cloud

budgets.

• Implement cloud cost control mechanisms to avoid budget overruns and ensure cost-effective

resource allocation.

• Set up and manage cloud monitoring systems to track the health and performance of cloud

environments.

• Work with security and operations teams to integrate cloud monitoring tools with security

systems for comprehensive oversight.

Qualifications:

• Minimum B.E./ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.Tech or four years graduate program in Computers/IT or

equivalent from a recognized university /institute.

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in cloud billing, cost management, or cloud monitoring.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) and cloud cost

optimization tools.

• Strong understanding of cloud pricing models, billing processes, and forecasting techniques.

• Experience with cloud monitoring solutions and performance analytics tools.

• Experience working with government or public sector organizations is an advantage.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications in cloud technologies/cloud cost management (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud

Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.

• Experience with cloud performance monitoring and alerting tools.

• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the public sector.
