Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

TITLE:  Azure & DevOps Engineer/Administrator, D365 CoE IT Operations

REPORTING TO:  Manager

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:                                                                                                                                                                           

Eurofins is accelerating the deployment of D365 Finance ERP across many countries.

 The IT Engineer will be responsible for administering, operating, and maintaining Dynamics F&O solutions, along with managing cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps tooling. The role involves supporting cloud and on‑premise environments, building scalable operational processes, and ensuring stable integration between enterprise platforms such as Dynamics AX 2012R3, Dynamics 365 Finance, and other business systems.

You will join the Eurofins Group Finance IT Team, working closely with Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts in Asia pacific, Europe and US region, contributing to secure, standardized, and scalable operational solutions.

Within Eurofins Group Finance IT team, you will join a team consisting of multiple Developers, Business Analysts etc. in India and in Europe. You will work under the guidance of a senior architect, follow established best practices, and contribute to the full development lifecycle of environment setup, deployment, maintenance, and release activities. Your responsibilities will include:

 

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

Cloud, Terraform & Azure Operations

Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.

Create, maintain, and optimize Terraform IaC scripts for environment provisioning and configuration.

Monitor cloud health, performance, cost optimization, and scalability requirements.

Ensure adherence to Eurofins' security, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment workflows (PowerShell, Azure CLI, YAML, Terraform).

Support cloud migrations, upgrades, and deployment initiatives.

Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, environment failures, and Terraform deployment errors.

Kubernetes (Basic Administration)

Perform basic administration of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

Use kubectl to troubleshoot pod, deployment, logging, and connectivity issues.

Understand basic K8s objects (Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets).

Assist in monitoring containerized workloads and maintaining cluster hygiene.

Dynamics AX 2012R3 / D365 F&O Administration (Nice to Have)

Assist with environment lifecycle management, including refreshes, sandbox provisioning, backups, and monitoring.

Maintain system availability, performance, and integrations for AX2012 and D365 environments.

Coordinate with internal IT and external partners on upgrades, hotfix deployments, and technical support.

Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for AX/D365 services.

Support SQL-related activities such as basic DBA tasks, query troubleshooting, and performance checks.

Operational Excellence

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues proactively to prevent escalation.

Create, update, and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational and infrastructure tasks.

Track and resolve incidents using ITSM ticketing systems.

Support identity, access, and security compliance (Azure AD, service principals, certificates).

Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams across IT and Finance domains.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience & Education:

You own a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.

You have around 2 to 5 years of experience in cloud/terraform/Azure engineering

Technology skills:

2–5 years of experience with Azure Cloud Administration, Terraform, and Infra-as-Code practices.

Strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform modules and automation.

Solid experience managing Azure components: VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Key Vault, AAD, Monitoring, Log Analytics.

Knowledge of CI/CD and Azure DevOps: pipelines, releases, repositories.

Experience with YAML pipelines, ARM templates, or Bicep.

Basic scripting ability (PowerShell / Bash).

Experience supporting enterprise systems such as AX/D365 and understanding multi-tier architectures.

Familiarity with Azure AD, service principals, RBAC, and certificate lifecycle management.

Exposure to backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes on Azure and SQL.

Basic knowledge of SQL Server administration and writing/querying SQL.

Experience with AKS or Kubernetes basics.

PowerShell automation for operational tasks.

Understanding REST APIs, Windows Services, and system integrations.
