KPMG’s Cloud & Platform Engineering practice is undergoing rapid growth. We design, build and operate modern cloud platforms to help our clients solve complex business and technology problems. Our work spans cloud strategy through to hands-on engineering, with a strong focus on automation, security, resilience and scalable platforms.
As a Senior Consultant you will play a hands-on engineering role designing, building and operating cloud platforms for our clients. You will work as part of multi-disciplinary delivery teams, contributing deep technical skills while engaging with client stakeholders and supporting junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain cloud platforms and landing zones across AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
• Write scripts using Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Apply DevOps practices to improve reliability, security and delivery velocity
• Support, coach and mentor junior engineers
Skills and Experience
• Hands‑on cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Solid understanding of DevOps tools, practices and ways of working
• Experience delivering in Agile environments
• Ability to work directly with clients and contribute to technical discussions
• Background in engineering, computer science or a related discipline
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure or GCP) are highly desirable
