Bosch Service Solutions develops and delivers Customer Experience, Mobility and Monitoring solutions for companies and their customers.

Our teams find fast and efficient solutions for thousands of people on a daily basis – from claim management to life-saving emergency calls, among other services. Define the standards and become a pioneer together with around 9000 associates worldwide.

You will work in a team of software developers contributing to a service solution based on sensor devices. This solution will provide 360° transparency about the vehicle state and allows detection of incidents or non-compliant behaviour. Once such an event has been detected, data from the sensors will be uploaded to the cloud and displayed to fleet operators.

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and operate serverless and containerized microservices on AWS;
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web UIs that integrate with internal and partner cloud services;
• Analyze and integrate existing services into our cloud ecosystem;
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, architects, hardware experts, and product managers;
• Deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable software.

• Education: completed degree in mathematics, computer science, physics, software, information-/communication technology or comparable

• Personality: strong team skills, very good communication skills, goal-oriented

• Working method: motivated and creative with high analytical skills, product-focused and customer-centric mindset

• Experience and know-how: knowledge of current backend, database, implementation of services (Java, Python, C++ preferably experience with AWS) and experience with agile development frameworks (e. g. Scrum), strong DevOps mindset "You build it, you run it", preferably experience with AI cloud services. It will be an added value if you have knowledge of UI technologies (e.g. Angular, Node.JS, React).

• Enthusiasm: interest in working in distributed teams using agile development methods

• Languages: very good language skills in English (written and spoken)
