About the position: As the Clinical Trials Specialist, you will assist the Clinical Trials Specialist Lead and team performing tasks associated with carrying out clinical trials. Accompany the Clinical Trials team to trade shows. Assist the Lead and Clinical Trials Referral Coordinator with referral process plans. Serve as a liaison between Arkana and clinical trials clients to ensure service is delivered according to our promise. Work is performed in accordance with standard laboratory practice under limited supervision.

What you'll do:

• Represent Arkana Clinical Trials Department at trade shows, institutes/clinics, independently and as needed

• Assist the Lead with sponsor relations and development

• Ongoing management of client relationship including leading weekly status meetings and responding to client inquiries

• Sample accessioning

• Maintain study-specific documents as per sponsor guidelines

• Provide immediate oversight of clinical trial subject trackers for trials

• Maintain regulatory compliance training (e.g. Good Clinical Laboratory Practice certification)

• Other duties as assigned

You should have:

Education: Bachelor degree (B.A. or B.S.) with one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: At least three years of client service experience in a laboratory setting is preferred

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to gain proficiency in electronic data capture systems used by Arkana

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This position is onsite at our main office in Little Rock, Arkansas
