Clinical Research Coordinator
As a Clinical Research Coordinator at Monroe Biomedical Research, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of clinical trials. This hands-on position involves managing patient interactions, performing study-related procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of clinical data. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to meet study objectives.
In this role, you will directly contribute to advancing innovative medical research while delivering an exceptional experience for study participants.
Key Responsibilities
Study Management
Develop and maintain source documentation and workflows in alignment with study protocols
Coordinate and schedule patient visits for clinical trials
Patient Care & Interaction
Conduct study procedures and collect clinical data from trial participants
Perform procedures such as blood draws, ECGs, pulmonary function tests, and vital signs
Guide, support, and communicate with patients throughout the duration of the study
Data & Documentation
Review and process medical records with accuracy and attention to detail
Prepare, handle, and ship laboratory specimens in compliance with protocols
Enter, manage, and submit study data to pharmaceutical sponsors
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Background in healthcare or experience as an LPN, Clinical Research Coordinator, or Medical Assistant preferred
Prior experience working directly with patients strongly preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
Demonstrated professionalism, tact, and strong communication skills
