The Role
We are seeking a bilingual Clinical Research Coordinator II to join our Long Beach team. This position is essential for supporting our diverse patient community and expanding our clinical trial capabilities. You'll coordinate multiple clinical studies while providing culturally sensitive care to Spanish-speaking participants.
What You'll Do
Patient Recruitment & Retention: Engage with diverse communities in both English and Spanish to identify and enroll qualified study participants
Protocol Management: Ensure strict adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Data Collection & Documentation: Accurately collect, enter, and manage clinical trial data while maintaining comprehensive study documentation
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain current knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR Parts 11, 312) and ICH-GCP guidelines
Patient Care Coordination: Provide ongoing support to study participants, conduct follow-up visits, and monitor adverse events
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Principal Investigators, study teams, and sponsor representatives
What We're Looking For
Required:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field
Minimum 2 years clinical research experience
Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written)
Current GCP certification
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and clinical trial processes
Proficiency with clinical trial management systems
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Preferred:
Previous experience in Phase I-IV clinical trials
Experience with diverse patient populations
Therapeutic area expertise (metabolic, infectious disease, vaccine, dermatology, or psychiatry)
Bilingual certification or healthcare interpretation training
