What You’ll Do
Front Desk & Patient Support
Greet and assist patients, study participants, and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
Answer and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and follow up with participants
Maintain patient and visitor logs to ensure an efficient check-in process
Keep reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming
Administrative & Research Support
Manage patient paperwork, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate records
Perform data entry, scanning, filing, faxing, and document archiving
Coordinate communication between patients and clinical research staff
Support participant recruitment efforts and follow-up calls
Learn study inclusion/exclusion criteria for active clinical trials
Clinical Research Exposure & Training
Shadow Patient Recruitment Coordinators and Clinical Research Coordinators
Assist with study materials, patient education resources, and documentation
Gain exposure to clinical trial operations and workflows
Site Operations & Compliance
Ensure office supplies and clinic materials are stocked and organized
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and research protocols
What We’re Looking For
✔ Education:
High school diploma required
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Biology, Psychology, Clinical Research, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred
✔ Experience:
Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred (healthcare or research setting is a plus)
✔ Skills:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent phone etiquette and scheduling abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
✔ Preferred (Not Required):
Knowledge of clinical research or willingness to learn
Experience with CRIO
Bilingual - Speak fluent English and Spanish
