Job Description
Shifts Available:
• Mixed: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM & 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Nights (7-on / 7-off): 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Salary Range: $58.15 – $73.56/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $3/hr (Evenings), $6/hr (Nights)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
A leading acute care hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a high-acuity environment. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team dedicated to quality care, medication safety, and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret and verify provider orders accurately into the system
• Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with pharmacy standards
• Monitor drug therapy for interactions, contraindications, and effectiveness
• Support formulary management and therapeutic interchange initiatives
• Provide clinical services including anticoagulation, renal dosing, IV-to-PO, and pharmacokinetics
• Educate staff and patients on drug information and therapy regimens
• Document interventions and clinical activity accurately
• Support pharmacy operations and technical team supervision
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school required
• Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
• Acute care hospital experience within the past year required
• PGY-1 residency or 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Open to new grads with recent hospital internship experience
Preferred Candidate Attributes:
• Self-starter with initiative in high-acuity settings
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication
• Familiarity with enterprise health systems and EMRs
• Prior experience within hospital or health system pharmacy a plus
