Title: Clinical Outreach Specialist (Tucson Based)
Department: Administration
Location: Tucson, Arizona (80% in the field and 20% remote)
Reports To: VP of Growth
FLSA Designation: Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Outreach Specialist (COS) facilitates all activities associated with the development of community, organization, and business networking. The COS will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including school districts, independent providers, hospitals, and community partners locally, regionally, and nationally. The COS will focus on developing these relationships and with the goal of identifying new referral sources, particularly those used by competitors, increasing the awareness of the services and programs that Horizon Recovery offers, and building our organization’s recognition regionally and nationally to support the strategic expansion goals of Horizon Recovery. The COS is also responsible for promoting Horizon Recovery with any other form of marketing that may present itself including social media, conferences, community events, and other opportunities.

The COS must be well versed and educated in the culture and services offered by Horizon Recovery to accurately and persuasively educate community stakeholders about our Program. The COS should be able to answer specific questions about Horizon Recovery and how our Program operates. The COS primary and main responsibility is to ensure Horizon Recovery is receiving an adequate number of referrals to support the mission and operation of the Company. The Business Development position is an autonomous position with a degree of independence and freedom to develop your own schedule. The COS is eligible for discretionary quarterly bonuses based on overall job performance, contributions to the company goals, adherence to company culture and values, and other metrics. Travel and milage reimbursement will be provided according to policy. The COS must use company approved and required tools and software for all business-related communications. A company cell phone may be provided upon request.

JOB DUTIES:

· Receives and records inquiry calls or referrals in a courteous and efficient manner.

· Work a minimum of 5 days per week for a minimum of 40 hours.

· Professionally represent Horizon Recovery to the community and stakeholders.

· Schedule and conduct in-service education meetings with stakeholders to educate their organization about Horizon Recovery’s services and Programs.

· Understand all aspects Horizon Recovery’s business, Program, and Operations to be able to answer questions from stakeholders, community partners, and others who are interested.

· Be willing and able to conduct COS job duties, as needed and within reason, on the weekends.

· Forward all inquiries about admissions to the Admissions team.

· Communicates with the patient’s families’ information about the facilities and the policies of the Company or connects families with an individual in the Company who can.

· Present reports when requested on all contacts made during the week including facility name, type, contact individuals name and information.

· Maintain communication with the Admissions team regarding the current census for all facilities, current waitlists,

and anticipated discharges from the program to ensure accurate information can be shared with community stakeholders.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or behavioral health sector.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.

· Ability to prioritize job tasks and organizational needs (information and job flow/sequence will be constantly changing)

· Excellent communication and networking skills

· Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

· Experience with CRM systems for tracking and managing business development activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with clients, families, peers, 3rd party contractors, and superiors.

· Ability to prioritize job tasks and organizational needs (information and job flow/sequence will be constantly changing)

· Excellent communication and networking skills

· Self-Driven and Motivated

· High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· 21 years if age or older.

· Be able to pass a criminal background check if required.

· Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Salary: Starts at $70,000 (depending on experience)

Job Location: Tucson, AZ (80% in the field and 20% remote)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (with sporadic evening/weekend requirements based on conferences, events, family tours).
