Registered Nurse (RGN) – Nursing Home – Brighton, East Sussex
Location: Patcham Nursing Home, Brighton
Salary: £25.25 per hour + enhanced weekend rate
Hours: Full time 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts, alternate weekends)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting staff development, and leading by example within a specialist care environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to support clinical oversight across the service, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered at all times.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams
Oversee medication management, audits, and clinical compliance
Support with care planning and risk management
Monitor and maintain high clinical standards across the service
Lead shifts and support effective staff deployment
Support staff competencies, supervision, and development
Promote best practice in wound care, PEG feeding, catheter care, and other clinical interventions
Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and CQC standards
Requirements
Registered Nurse qualification (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
Active NMC registration
Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical lead role
Strong knowledge of medication management and care planning
Experience within complex care or acute care settings
Good leadership and communication skills
Understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance
