Clinical Laboratory Manager

As part of the Product Team, you'll play a key role in bringing new ideas to market, working across the full product lifecycle in an exciting, and science led environment.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Clinical Laboratory Manager to join The Beauty Tech Group at an exciting stage of our growth. This is a brand new role, created to establish and lead our in-house clinical testing laboratory, a significant strategic investment that will sit at the heart of our product innovation and scientific credibility. You will be responsible for building the lab from the ground up, designing and executing clinical studies, and generating the robust scientific data that underpins our marketing claims and drives our product development. If you are passionate about skin science, clinical research and beauty technology, this is a rare opportunity to shape something truly from scratch at a fast moving, ambitious business.

Skills, knowledge & expertise:

• Lead the setup of the clinical lab including equipment procurement, commissioning, calibration and the development of all standard operating procedures
• Design and execute clinical efficacy studies across our brand portfolio, covering parameters such as skin hydration, elasticity and wrinkles
• Recruit, screen and manage a panel of study volunteers, ensuring informed consent, demographic diversity, and a professional and welcoming experience throughout.
• Develop robust study protocols defining endpoints, measurement schedules, statistical power requirements and inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Manage all raw data capture, statistical analysis and produce clear, publication ready study reports for internal and external audiences
• Ensure full ethical compliance across all studies, including all associated consent and audit documentation
• Manage equipment service contracts, calibration schedules and consumable procurement
• Liaise with our independent Scientific Advisory Board and support academic collaboration partnerships with UK universities
• Support the scoping and procurement of future lab capabilities including hair care and hair removal assessment equipment
