Summary
We are seeking a passionate Clinical Director to join our team at Hope Valley Health & Wellness in Wasilla Alaska. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission of delivering transformative mental health care through evidence-based practices and holistic therapies.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct on-site clinical staff, including interns and trainees.
Review program schedules and sit in on staff-led groups regularly.
Attend treatment team meetings.
Responsible for providing training to clinical staff at hire, annually and on-going basis.
Responsible for a limited caseload.
Oversee and manage client incidents, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively, and ensure that incident reports are completed accurately and on time.
Facilitate appropriate therapeutic groups and individual therapy sessions.
Complete necessary community referrals and ensure continuity of care with other agencies as needed.
Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the program and implement changes based on feedback from clients and staff.
Complete assigned chart audits.
Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating qualified clinical staff for program needs.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have current license, LPCC, LMFT or LCSW.
Must have at least two years of management experience in a behavioral health setting.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
Must have current TB test or chest x-ray.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing services needed to clients.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in electronic charting preferred.
Experience with conducting client group sessions, and one on one sessions is required.
Strong understanding of the principles and application of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
