POSITION TITLE:  Clinical Director-Stroke & Chest Pain Center

POSITION LOCATION:  Germantown, TN

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the management of the Accredited Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center and other related aspects of the center. The Director is the lead facilitator for the hospital departments, physicians, external agencies, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals. This leader ensures the care for the stroke, chest pain and other patients throughout the continuum and works with the Medical Directors of each Program, collaborating with program leadership team members to ensure comprehensive medical record documentation to reflect clinical treatment, decisions, and diagnoses for inpatients.
The Director is responsible for ensuring and supporting the Medical Center continued certifications as a primary stroke center, primary chest pain center, etc. The Director will include education, reporting and marketing for these programs. Ensures quality and regulatory compliance for the all programs providing education and development opportunities for staff.  All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person in this position is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner with respect and dignity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required, bachelor's in nursing preferred
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of TN
Three years of previous management experience
