Senior Associate – Client Reporting 

State Street’s Client Reporting team delivers comprehensive reporting solutions to investment managers by consolidating data from internal and external sources, including IBOR, ABORE, performance platforms, market data vendors, and client-provided data. The team supports complex reporting requirements through a robust, self-service reporting framework. 

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting dashboards and reporting solutions for Investment Management Services, with a strong emphasis on data quality, performance, and usability. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support client reporting dashboards using enterprise BI platforms such as Power BI, Jasper, and eSpreadsheet. 

• Build and manage reporting data models, data marts, and warehouse structures to support scalable analytics. 

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and functional testing to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. 

• Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and performance diagnostics. 

• Collaborate with data sourcing teams and subject matter experts to resolve data gaps and ensure consistency across systems. 

• Deliver interactive, selfservice dashboards with integrated components to meet complex client reporting requirements. 

• Act as a reporting subject matter resource, responding to ad hoc analysis and user inquiries. 

• Continuously improve reporting quality, efficiency, and usability through analytical problem solving. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in SQL, data analysis, and query performance optimization. 

• Handson experience with BI reporting tools, with strong proficiency in Power BI and similar platforms. 

• Solid experience in data quality validation, reconciliation, and functional testing. 

• Good understanding of data governance models and data quality implementation techniques. 

• Knowledge of BI architecture, reporting tools, and data warehousing principles. 

• Experience with Interactive Report Designer (IRD) or IBI WebFocus is preferred. 

• Exposure to enterprise data platforms (e.g., EDW, ETL frameworks, ESP, MYSS) is an advantage. 

• Familiarity with big data platforms and cloud technologies is a plus. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and reporting solutions. 

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. 

• Ability to interpret entityrelationship diagrams and logical data models. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
