As a Client Partner for TikTok, you will drive revenue growth across Sri Lanka by aligning advertisers’ business objectives with TikTok’s advertising solutions. Acting as a strategic consultant to agencies and direct clients, you will build strong partnerships and deliver high-impact, data-driven media strategies across the market.

This is a highly commercial, client-facing role suited for a proactive sales professional who combines strong relationship management with sharp commercial acumen and a passion for digital media.


Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drive advertising revenue by selling digital advertising solutions across a portfolio of managed products to both new and existing advertisers.

• Build, retain and grow a dedicated book of business consisting of top advertisers and media agencies, while being fully responsible for the delivery of commercial results across the assigned portfolio.

• Prospect, source and close new business opportunities with brand advertisers and media agencies, ensuring a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.

• Foster strong long-term partnerships with assigned clients, acting as a trusted consultant and strategic advisor throughout the client lifecycle.

• Meet new prospects and existing clients regularly to understand their current and upcoming campaign objectives, KPI benchmarks, media budgets and target audience requirements, and recommend suitable platform solutions from the product portfolio.

• Apply knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, buying cycles, pricing frameworks and agency engagement models to identify relevant solutions aligned with advertiser business objectives.

• Act as a consultative advisor to advertisers and agency partners by sharing product knowledge, platform best practices and strategic recommendations that help unlock campaign effectiveness and long-term value.

• Seamlessly onboard new advertisers by providing product education, account guidance and ongoing commercial support, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales discussions to campaign activation.

• Identify and drive upselling, cross-selling and account expansion opportunities within existing advertiser relationships to maximize long-term revenue growth.

• Deliver consistently against assigned sales targets, collection targets and other defined commercial KPIs while ensuring an excellent customer sales experience.

• Coordinate closely with internal commercial support teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless advertiser onboarding, campaign preparedness and efficient management of client feedback and queries.

• Build and nurture a broad network of customer, agency and industry relationships that contribute toward long-term business development and market penetration.

• Co-develop the market through client workshops, educational seminars, PR initiatives, thought leadership opportunities and industry networking events to drive product adoption and advertiser awareness.

• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor movements, new product launches and changes within the digital advertising ecosystem in order to proactively identify business opportunities.

• Accurately forecast weekly, monthly and annual sales pipelines, actual revenue delivery and projected business opportunities.

• Resolve client issues in an efficient, professional and tactful manner, while contributing toward long-term solutions that improve advertiser satisfaction and retention.

• Contribute actively toward the overall commercial growth of the business by supporting cross-functional initiatives, market expansion efforts and new revenue streams.

Skills Required:
• Strong experience in digital advertising sales, media sales, platform sales, account management or agency servicing.

• Proven ability in business development, client acquisition and revenue generation.

• Sound understanding of digital advertising products, campaign buying processes, pricing models and performance metrics.

• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills.

• Ability to build and manage senior client and agency relationships.

• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Highly proactive, target driven and solutions oriented.
