Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Client Experience - Office Assistant will be expected to provide general assistance and customer service support in the Client Experience office. Responsibilities will include information distribution, membership sales and general customer service inquiries.
Duties
• Greet and welcome customers
• Respond to in-person, telephone and email inquiries
• Provide general information regarding Athletics and Recreation programs such as fitness courses, camps etc.
• Process membership registrations, locker sales, rentals, sports camps registrations etc.
Evening and/or weekend shifts may be required depending on the schedule/availability.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
• Ability to learn new software
• Customer service-oriented
• Strong attention to detail
• Bilingual (French and English) required

Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 4 on a scale of 0-4.
