As part of the Visa’s Asia Pacific Consulting Practice, Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) applies deep expertise in payment industry to provide solutions and consulting services to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. We drive tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as analytics, credit card product development, risk management, marketing, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, among others, and solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

What a Consulting Manager in VCA does at Visa:

The Manager, Visa Consulting & Analytics will assist GC VCA lead and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, sales and projects management optimization, risk management within the GC VCA. This role is critical to ensure that our business development is aligned with the AP VCA‘s strategic objectives and contribute to its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities include:

Set the Pace for Growth:

• Lead the business rhythm of the cluster — oversee planning cycles, business and pipeline and tracking and reporting key organizational metrics and business outcomes.
• Develop actionable insights and frameworks to enable leadership to make data-driven decisions and accelerate execution.
• Ensure cross-team alignment so priorities translate into measurable outcomes.
• Support hiring objectives by tracking and managing headcount and recruitment targets and processes effectively.

Drive Strategic & Operational Impact:

• Develop and implement strategic priorities for VCA, such as developing cluster strategies, cost optimization, pricing strategies, and championing AI programs.
• Identify emerging opportunities and risks, working with the business to convert them into actionable programs that deliver tangible results for the cluster.
• Foster collaboration across clusters and functions, building strong stakeholder relationships and enhancing the cross-functional operating model within and outside of VCA.
• Drive change management efforts to support adoption of new strategies, processes and AI initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

What you will need:

• Bachelor ‘s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and senior management executives.
• Intellectual versatility, able to traverse domain topics.
• Language skills – English written and verbal skills.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in consulting and operations management within the financial industry or experience in business consulting.

What will also help:

• Some consulting experience with project management preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Be very detail oriented, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data visualization tools, and financial operations software.
