The Clerical Associate provides clerical support for the clinical team.
Accountabilities:
• Processing referrals through centralized intake
• Registration
• Managing statistics
• Effectively interacting with patients and staff
• Staff scheduling
• Reception
• Telephone answering
• Word processing
• Data entry/computer applications
• Other related duties as assigned
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing and comprehension)
• Post secondary education
• Transcription skills required
• Medical terminology required
• Typing skills of 45/wpm required
• Proficient in Meditech patient registration and MSM medSchedule
• Proficient in Word/Excel and other Microsoft applications required
• Must have a minimum of one year recent related office experience
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to react appropriately in a crisis situation
• Excellent attendance and work record
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
• Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
Hours: Currently Days, 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum:     $26.31 per hour
Maximum:    $28.49 per hour
