Clearing Operations Specialist

The back office is the heart of operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will oversee the core functionalities ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include reconciling trades, managing settlements, and optimizing operational processes. You'll collaborate closely with various trading teams, gaining a broad view of the fund's activities. We increasingly leverage technology for automation and efficiency, and our back office becomes a hub for implementing, testing, and refining these technologies, making it exciting for those inclined towards fintech.

Location

Chicago, IL (Hybrid mode with 3 days in-office requirement), regular working hours

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve prior day breaks including trade, dividend, position, fee, and cash discrepancies

• Input daily accruals for stock loan and financing activities

• Monitor automation and identify discrepancies between internal systems and broker data

• Allocate time for process improvement projects and address unique issues as they arise

Basic Requirements

• Solid understanding of futures, with a preference for knowledge about futures' fees and expirations

• Experience with equity reconciliations and corporate actions is a plus

• 2+ years of the industry experience

• Experience with Enfusion or other Portfolio management software

• Self-motivated individual with an inclination to ask questions and operate with minimal supervision

• Proficient both in written and verbal communication
