cBEYONData a subsidiary of SMX is seeking a Communications & Value Realization Specialist to measure and communicate the impact of AI initiatives across the agency. This role identifies baseline metrics, quantifies improvements, and translates technical achievements into mission-focused success stories for leadership. This role is onsite in Quantico, VA or Hanover, MD.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish baseline metrics for AI and automation initiatives across programs.

• Track and report incremental improvements, ROI, and mission impact.

• Develop clear, compelling communications that highlight value delivered.

• Maintain cross-team visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and accomplishments.

• Build dashboards, scorecards, or storytelling artifacts for leadership.

• Support internal communication strategies for AI adoption and awareness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in value realization, business analysis, analytics, or communications.

• 1–3 years of cross-team coordination or program support experience.

• Strong writing, visualization, and storytelling abilities.

• Ability to synthesize complex technical information into executive-ready messages.

• Active Secret clearance.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.

• Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives or federal transformation programs.

• Background in change management, strategic communications, or PMO support.
