Cleaning Supervisor - Night Shift - Stansted Airport

Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Team Leader for a prestigious client at Heathrow Airport. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company offering excellent conditions and facilities.

PLEASE NOTE: This role requires a Full Manual UK Driving License.

What's on offer:

• Rate of pay: £13.64
• Working Hours: 22:00 – 06:00
• Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off
• Hours per week: 30-40 hours
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Temp to Perm (performance-related).

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver on-the-job training and hands-on coaching to colleagues, ensuring excellence in cabin cleaning techniques, adherence to quality standards, and full compliance with cleaning specifications.
• Support the professional growth of cabin appearance colleagues by identifying and nurturing future supervisors through continuous development and upskilling opportunities.
• Actively participate as a member of the team, taking part in day-to-day aircraft cleaning tasks to lead by example and maintain high operational standards.
• Promote and embed an inclusive, welcoming team culture where all colleagues feel valued and supported, particularly when new team members join.
• Actively contribute to the onboarding process, helping new colleagues feel confident, connected, and well-prepared from day one.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations, fostering a safe and proactive working environment for all.
• Undertake additional operational responsibilities as required, supporting the wider team and business objectives with flexibility and professionalism.

Shifts:

The Airport is operational 7 days per week, and candidates will be working on a 5 on 3 off, this could be subject to change!

An example of the shift hours for 30-40 hours per week (5 on 3 off pattern):

• Day 1: 22:00pm to 06:00am
• Day 2: 22:00pm to 06:00am
• Day 3: 22:00pm to 06:00am
• Day 4: 22:00pm to 06:00am
• Day 5: 22:00pm to 06:00am

The ideal candidate:

• Holds a Full Manual UK driving licence, enabling flexibility across operational duties and locations.
• Demonstrates genuine pride in their work, consistently striving for high standards in cleanliness and presentation.
• Brings a strong work ethic, showing reliability, initiative, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Thrives as part of a team, supporting others and contributing positively to a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Ideally has previous experience in cleaning and/or in a supervisory capacity, though full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
