Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: Belfast, Queen's Island, Belfast BT3 9EU.

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour

We are currently seeking diligent and motivated Cleaning Operatives to join our growing team.

Role Overview:
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to the highest standards in a variety of client locations. Your role is vital in ensuring safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas, restocking consumables as necessary.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damages or supply needs.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the site management and team members.

Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not mandatory; comprehensive training provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including possible early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning chemicals is an advantage.
