Clinvet SA is widely regarded as one of the leading animal health CRO's globally.  We are recruiting for a Cleaner: Arthropod and Helminth Colonies (Entry Level position) within our Arthropod and Helminth Colonies Department at Clinvet South Africa at our Bloemfontein site.

Primary Job Purpose

To maintain a clean, safe, and compliant facility by performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene tasks.

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Cleaning of the facility and equipment to achieve and maintain a clean, orderly and audit ready facility at all times.

Handling and cleaning laundry to ensure cleanliness of animal bedding, clothing and other materials.

Cleaning of animal housing and equipment to maintain and optimise animal health and wellbeing.

Interact and handle animals to ensure content, well-adjusted and cared for animals.

Provide food and water for all animals.

Handling and storage of chemicals and laboratory consumables.

Handling and disposing of waste materials to comply with health and environmental regulations.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Grade 12, and

At least 6 months’ experience in a similar role

Driver's License
