La Rosa Landscape is seeking a reliable, safety-minded Material & Equipment Transporter to join our team in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, year-round position for a professional driver who takes pride in organization, teamwork, and supporting high-quality landscape construction projects.
In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our daily operations—ensuring materials, equipment, and crews have exactly what they need to succeed. You’ll work closely with our Production Supervisor and field teams to keep projects running efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do-
As a Material & Equipment Transporter, you’ll support our landscape construction crews by managing transportation, logistics, and yard operations. Responsibilities include:
Transporting landscape materials and equipment to and from job sites and suppliers
(materials include plants, soil, stone, brick, block, and other landscape supplies)
Coordinating daily pickups and deliveries with the Production Supervisor and vendors
Reviewing schedules and production needs to ensure timely material delivery
Loading, securing, and unloading materials and equipment using proper tie-down procedures
Operating equipment such as wheel loaders, skid steers, mini skids, excavators, and tractors
Organizing and maintaining the company yard, tools, trucks, trailers, and equipment
Preparing and staging materials and equipment for the following day’s operations
Managing material waste and ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed
Building positive relationships with suppliers and providing professional customer service
Assisting with winter snow operations, including plowing, as needed
What We’re Looking For-
Valid Wisconsin CDL (or willingness to obtain) with an insurable driving record
Experience hauling materials and transporting construction or landscape equipment
Ability to load and unload skid steers, wheel loaders, tractors, and attachments
Strong organizational skills and attention to safety and detail
Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Snow plowing experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required
