What the Role Involves
• Safely operating Class 5 truck and trailer units across the South Island
• Working with onboard equipment to collect, manage, and transport liquid and hazardous waste
• Keeping accurate documentation, manifests, and safety records
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring equipment is road-ready
• Upholding WM New Zealand’s leading safety culture - every trip, every time
What You’ll Bring
• A full NZ Class 5 licence (truck & trailer experience is essential)
• DG license (Dangerous Goods) – must hold or be able to obtain
• Extensive driving experience across South Island routes
• A strong safety mindset and proven reliability
• Physically fit and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
• Knowledge of transport operations and compliance
