Class 1 Roamer Driver $95,477.00 Salary a Year Guaranteed!!

We are looking to hire a "Class 1 Roamer Driver" based out of our Lethbridge, AB terminal. The roamer covers assigned positions, including LCV linehaul or pick-up and delivery operations in Western and Northern Canada. Key responsibilities include:

 

• Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all assigned equipment to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance
• Execute proper load securement procedures in accordance with transportation regulations and company standards
• Operate as a flexible roamer, covering various assigned positions across our terminal network as needed
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company operational policies while operating commercial vehicles
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues
• Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and maintain on-time performance standards
• Be booked on rotating assignments of 1 week at a time, with possible extensions up to 3 weeks at any terminal within our network
• Travel between terminals on scheduled off days, with compensation provided for travel time and approved mileage when using your personal vehicle
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing assignments and operational requirements

 

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License 
• 2 years of class 1 experience (For LCV Qualifications) 
• Mountain driving experience (will train the right candidate)
• 1 year of pick-up and delivery experience as an asset
• Physically Fit
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience
• Criminal record
